It is recommended to take protein-rich diet, by eating combinations of several plant and dairy foods. You can also obtain protein through complementary sources of protein such as nuts, legumes, peas, seeds and soyabeans. The vegetarians should include adequate amount of legumes, nuts and soyabeans in their diet.
Proteins should be taken in proper quantities. A normal human body requires 50 - 65 grams of protein food daily, which is equal to 8 ounces, or 225 grams of meat per day. Athletes should eat more carbohydrates, but take protein and fat in the required quantities.
It’s very important to take the right amount of proteins as per your bodily requirement. The protein requirement of a child depends upon the age and weight. The elder children need extra protein than younger ones.
